Mathematics for the Modern World is designed to prepare students for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. It combines a rigorous foundation in mathematical principles with contemporary themes including:
Sustainability and global citizenship
Communication, creativity and entrepreneurship
AI-assisted mathematics and modern computational tools
Big data and digital technologies
This degree programme, and my position, are funded by the Campaign for Mathematical Sciences
I also organise and chair the weekly Applied and Computational Mathemaitcs seminars.
